4160 Tyndall Ave Project
Mavericks Solutions Ltd worked with the designer to integrate the structural system within the design. This was a collaborative approach that turned out beautifully.
Mark Lane, North Saanich
This design worked around difficult setback rules and lot coverage. We integrated a new timber structure to an existing character masonry wall pushing the limits to preserve it. The set of six pages permit drawing application combined a structural engineering submission with architectural design.
2825 Shakespeare St Reno
This design combines structural engineering with architectural design. Mavericks Solutions Ltd worked with the client to provide a better flow on the main floor. This required changing the design of the roof and performing some seismic upgrades.

234 Edward St
This transformation is in the planning stage. This home was the first one built in Vic West sometime in the late 1800. We are working with a motivated home owner to give a second life to this structure. This project involves a house lift, new foundation, new full legal suite in the basement, a seismic upgrade and a full renovation.
576 Niagara St
This lovely James Bay centennial home is sitting on a stone foundation. Did you know that in Victoria, some centennial homes qualify for a multi-unit conversion? We developed a design to upgrade the foundation and include two suites in the basement. Suite design was carefully planned around existing load bearing paths to minimize requirement for structural upgrades upstairs. This project will upgrade the structure with seismic considerations while providing substantial value added with the suites.

As a structural engineering and residential design firm, we develop the concept from ground up keeping in mind the critical structural systems throughout the process. This results in beautiful designs without last minute structural changes or compromises. Our structural systems are simple, well thought out and integrated to keep building cost down and execution smooth.

Architectural design of a duplex including structural engineering. Design intent was to maximize square footage and focus on the best layout for families while still providing a modern appealing look. This design provides 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + master ensuite, office, living room, kitchen, 2 covered patio and garage per duplex.
Beach Dr, Victoria Wine Cellar
Do you have an unused crawlspace and would like to turn it into a wine cellar?
